Twinkle Toes Hat is knit from the bottom up. This pattern introduces an optional technique for stretchy colorwork, which makes carrying floats nearly invisible.

Circumference does not include negative ease (stretch). Add 1-2” to the circumference to account for negative ease.

•US 1 (2.25mm) 16” circular needle or cable long enough for “magic loop”
•40-60g MC fingering weight yarn
•20-40g C2 fingering weight yarn
•Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
•Two distinct types of stitch markers (optional)
