Gallifrey Socks are worked in the round from the toe up using a seamless cast on, optional gusset shaping, and a short row heel. Due to the intarsia cabling not lending itself to a lot of stretch, strategic increases are added to give these socks a comfortable fit along with a refined style.
This pattern can be a little fiddly, but oh-so worth it! A link to a video tutorial is available within the pattern to walk you through the technique if you are just learning intarsia.
