Europa Sock is a luxuriously soft base for knitting accessories, sweaters, socks, and more! This beautifully squishy yarn is 4-Ply, made with 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon for added durability. Each 100 gram skein is approximately 435 Yards.

This colorway is named Bellatrix after the third brightest star in the constellation of Orion. The traditional name Bellatrix is from the Latin bellātrix "female warrior".

This Bellatrix recipe is being retired, please be sure to get enough to complete your project.

The color is a solid, rich black faded to a deep fig-like purple. Please note that depending on your device or monitor settings colors may appear slightly different than they are in person.

Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. All of our yarns are thoroughly washed and rinsed, but with all hand dyed yarns there could be some excess of dye molecules that remain. It is recommended to wash separately for the first wash to ensure no dye transfer.
